No Leeds Bradford Airport Expansion
Hundreds of students have already signed a letter against the expansion of Leeds Bradford Airport.
The Owners of Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBIA) want to boost their profits by nearly doubling the number of passengers flying out of the airport over the next 4 years despite the massive increase it would bring in terms of noise, traffic and C02 emissions. However there is an opportunity to stop them: To go ahead with the expansion LBIA need Leeds City Council’s planning permission. Thanks to campaigning by LUU, Friends of the Earth, TIDAL and Stop Climate Chaos the council has delayed their decision until the 16th April.
